Vintage Tikar Tribe African Mask Wood with Brass/Copper Wire & Scarification 15\" For Sale

This Vintage Tikar Tribe African Mask is a handmade piece crafted from wood with brass/copper wire accents and scarification details. Measuring 15 inches in length, 7.5 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width, this traditional African mask holds cultural significance and historical value. This vibrant and beautiful mask is in very good condition. This is used, so there is some slight wear, marks, scuffs and scratches in spots (see photos), but nothing that is too bad or would deter from the piece. There is a spot on the top metal plating where you can see the plate is slight separated from the scarification rope embellishment (see photo). It feels firmly attached, leading me to believe that perhaps it wasn\'t soldered fully at the time it was made. The wood is in very good condition. It is not dry or brittle. This is such a gorgeous hand crafted piece. Please view all photos for full condition.
