This is a quality Japanese marine navigation sextant in excellent condition, often referred to as the TAMAYA SPICA MS-733. It appears to be complete with Case, Certificate, Telescope, Shades and accessories items shown.CONDITION NOTES
Excellent vintage condition. Very slight handling wear ~ if any. Case has light wear as shown in the pictures.Mirrors, lenses, shades and telescope are present as shown. The owner curtailed his career in 1990 and the sextant, case and accessories have been in dry storage ever since. I have not tested or calibrated this sextant, and is being sold as untested by a professional.Item is being sold as a collectable ~ Maritime Navigational Instrument ~ Display Piece. There is nothing preventing a Maritime Cadet or experienced mariner from utilizing instrument in their training or trade.
