Vintage Pleasant Company Samantha Tarkington White Body American Girl Doll
Beautiful early Pleasant Company Samantha Tarkington 18-inch American Girl doll with the highly collectible white cloth body.
Samantha has her classic brown eyes, long brown hair with bangs, and Pleasant Company neck marking. Her hair remains very long and full and retains its original length/cut.
This Samantha also has a special family history. The yellow-and-white striped dress, white eyelet pinafore, sash, and coordinating hair bow were handmade by my great-aunt specifically for this doll, inspired by the Lacy Pinafore birthday ensemble Samantha wears in Happy Birthday, Samantha! The outfit is not an original Pleasant Company factory outfit, but it was carefully made to recreate the look of Samantha's birthday dress.
