Up for sale is a classic, highly sought-after pair of vintage Pacific South Swell (PSS) Viper Surfing Fins featuring the iconic, hand-painted Yellow Dot splash graphic on the tips. Originally designed by bodysurfing legend Fred Simpson, these heavy-duty 100% rubber fins are a historic staple for bodyboarders, bodysurfers, and lifeguards alike. Condition: PLEASE NOTE: The original internal neoprene comfort pads are missing from the top of the foot pockets. They can be used as-is, or you can easily glue in aftermarket fin pads/insoles if you prefer extra cushioning. They do have some nicks. They’re not perfect. These fins are in good vintage condition and are fully structural with plenty of life left in them. The rubber remains thick, rigid, and responsive along the vertical side rails for maximum water channeling and propulsion. Note: As with all authentic vintage PSS Vipers, there is minor cosmetic wear and aging consistent with normal water use, no deep cracks or structural rot.
