Vintage Mattel’s Barbie Box. This is a nice example of an early Barbie box. There are some taped corners, but they are nicely done and not many. There are two corners on the lid of the box that are taped or are open. There is one corner of the bottom of the box that is taped or open. The edges are good. There is some normal wear and tear of the box, but it is not bad for its age.
This box was one of the boxes used for the first Barbies issued. Because of the graphics of the Parisian dress on Barbie, it is one of the first boxes produced. The graphics are perfect. There is the registered trademark and the description of the Barbie inside. What is of particle interest is the label for the price of the Barbie and box it was first bought.'This can be of particular interest to a strong collector of Barbies.
