Vintage Madame Alexander Composition Rare Portrait Southern Girl 20\" A/O 1940\'s For Sale

For your Consideration, A Gorgeous and Rare Madame Alexander Composition Portrait Southern Girl in Tagged Gown, she is all Original from the late 30\'s early 40\'s. She stands 20\" tall and full composition, she has light crazing throughout, and her legs have some hairline cracks, no missing composition. She wears a southern style gown, a red and white cotton? material, it is heavier that regular cotton, tagged in the back with Blue Block Letters and closing with square snaps, the gown has puffed white short sleeves and white ribbon accents on bodice and also on the ruffled hem. The gown has no holes, rips, or tears but does have some light foxing around lower areas. She wears her full antique linen hoop slip ( hoop at bottom) matching linen pantaloons with red ribbon looped inside, elastic waist has relaxed. I believe this particular doll/outfit to be on the Rare side, I have never seen it in all the years of my collecting MA Portrait dolls. She has vintage rayon socks, and black leather top tie shoes. She has the Wendy Ann facial mold, this doll especially pretty! She has rose red pursed lips, the pensive look these dolls have, light cheek blush, lower painted lashes, gorgeous brown clear sleep eyes, full upper horsehair lashes, gray eye shadow, and thin stroked brows. She has a Lush Deep Auburn Red Mohair wig still retaining the original style of soft curls around her face and the nape of her neck, original hairpins. She wears her original Wide Brim cream straw hat with original vintage millinery flowers, red fuzzy for get me nots, leaves, and off white flowers accented by the red checkered ribbon and long ties down the back, original red silk ribbon tie has faded in time.
