Vintage MOD nickel plated brass saddle upgrade kit to fit recent Gibson brand ABR-1 bridges from2009 to 2023. These saddles are my vintage replica saddles withadjustments needed to better fit modern ABR versions. Improves tone with vintage style wide toplands, increased mass, and better contact with the strings and bridge. This set covers the chunky block style with wide top lands and slacker slant angle. Please examine your bridge to assure compatibility. Do notassume by the model year of the guitar which bridge you have especially ifpurchased previously owned. Try looking for the ejector pin marks (see picture) with a flashlight before taking the bridge off the guitar. Otherwise, pop the saddles, look for the ejector pinimpressions in the bridge. For wiredbridges it may be easier to move the saddles and re-intonate afterwards than dealwith the wire. Look at the bottom of the bridge for the brand marks if necessary.
FITS:
·2009 – 2023: Gibson brand ABR no-wire andretaining wire bridges with the foundry mark.
They have THREE round ejector pin impressions where the saddles sit.
Will NOT Fit:
·1950’s, 1960’s wire and no-wire ABR bridges whichhave the foundry mark or patent number.
There are NO round ejector pin marks in the recesses where the saddles sit (seepicture). These need my vintage replicasaddles.
·1990’s-2000’s retaining wire bridges, these hadno foundry mark.
They have TWO round ejector pin impressions down where the saddles sit. These need my vintage replica saddles.
2023 - present newly revised ABR-1 with 4 ejector pin marks and a G in the foundry mark.

· Anynon-Gibson brand and marked ABR-1 bridge.
·Gotoh or import ABR lookalike bridge.
·Pigtail, Callaham, Tonepros, Faber, ABM or otherABR derivatives all of which need the manufacturer’s unique saddles.
Supplied as a set of 6 unslotted saddles plus a spare (7total). Installation and slotting tips included.
The saddles should be slotted basedon the player’s preferences and the layout of the guitar. It is not difficult to slot the wide toplands of the soft brass using proper nut files.
