This engine is in fantastic cosmetic shape and comes paired with its highly collectible original Lionel 2328-17 individual shipping box. O-gauge collectors know how difficult it is to find this specific silver and red livery without heavy paint flaking or

Condition Report:
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent. The silver paint is exceptionally bright and clean with minimal handling wear. The red stamped-metal handrails are straight and intact. Both \"BurlingtonBurlington Route\" side decals and \"Built by Lionel\" frame stamps are crisp and completely legible.
Internal Condition: The shell has been removed for inspection (see photos). The original single-motor wiring, 3-position E-unit, and horn assembly are all present and structurally intact. No signs of historical battery corrosion spillover in the horn cavity.
The Box: Includes the original brown corrugate 2328-17 box. The box shows some light age-related crushing on one end flap, but it is structurally sound, clean, and prominently displays the original factory stamps.
