Striking Vintage Jozefina Krosno Polish Art Glass “Jellyfish” Pedestal Bowl
A spectacular and unusually large example of Polish hand-blown art glass, featuring a vibrant red, orange, amber/yellow and white mottled bowl supported by dramatic clear-glass looping “tentacles.”
The elaborate pedestal construction gives the piece its well-known “Jellyfish” or “Octopus” appearance. Each clear glass loop flows downward from the bowl toward the central stem, creating a wonderful sculptural effect from every angle.
The substantial bowl measures approximately:
11” tall × 9” wide
The foot features concentric opaque white rings within the clear glass. Original “MADE IN POLAND” label remains attached to the underside.
This is a particularly impressive example due to its large 11-inch scale and vivid fiery coloration. It works equally well as a functional compote/centerpiece bowl or as a standalone piece of sculptural art glass.
