Vintage Dansk Model 824 combination salt shaker and pepper mill designed by Jens Quistgaard. This distinctive Danish Modern design is commonly known among collectors as the \"Double Barrel\" or \"Drum.\"
Constructed of teak with a sculptural stacked form. The upper salt shaker has six dispensing holes, and the piece retains all four wooden side pegs. The pepper mill features an early metal grinding mechanism marked \"PEUGEOT FRERES LION\" with lion emblem.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with surface scratches, finish wear, scattered marks and discoloration consistent with age and use. The metal grinding mechanism shows oxidation and age-related wear. Pepper grinder turns and functions as intended. All four wooden side pegs are present.
