Originalvintage, early 20th century J.M. Horton's Ice Cream single-sided porcelain advertising sign reading "The Premier Ice Cream of America" and "Established 1851." Measures approximately 28" high x 20" wide. Heavy porcelain-on-steel construction with mounting holes.

Horton Ice Cream Company of New York City, founded by James Madison Horton, was at one time the largest ice cream maker in the world, supplying roughly half of New York City's ice cream before being absorbed by Borden around 1930.
