Vintage Italian Hippocrates “IPPOCRATE” Classical Medical Bust Sculpture.
Vintage classical bust depicting Hippocrates (Ippocrate), the ancient Greek physician known as the Father of Medicine. Features a detailed bearded portrait with classical draped robes, mounted on an integrated turned pedestal base. The name “IPPOCRATE” is impressed on the front.
Attractive ivory/cream finish with finely rendered facial and hair details. Appears to be Italian decorative sculpture, possibly alabaster, marble/composite stone, or similar material. No maker\'s mark observed. Shows light age-related surface marks and wear; please see photographs for condition. An excellent decorative piece for a physician\'s office, medical collection, library, or classical interior.
