Stunning Vintage Mid-Century Italian Florentia Gold Gilt Ornate Mirror
A beautiful, authentic vintage Florentine wall mirror crafted mid-century by Florentia in Italy. This piece features a gorgeously detailed Baroque/Rococo style frame with scrolling acanthus leaves, crisp flourishes, and a dramatic crown crest. The rich gold gilt finish shows subtle, authentic red-brown undertones showing through to give it incredible depth, warmth, and character.
Dimensions are: 16 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches at the longest width.
The back features the highly recognizable, original Florentia red-and-white starburst patterned backing paper, original metal hanging loop, and the signature green maker's stamp reading: "A Decorative Craft - Florentia - Hand Made in Italy" alongside the model number 69414. The paper has been torn in areas, but it does not look like the cardboard underneath, or the mirror have been disturbed at all.
