This is beautiful example of floral woodblock printmaking fromHodo Nishimuraa well known artist active in the 1930\'s. His art work had aresurgence in the early 2000\'s after a renowned art collectorRobert Muller saleed part of his personal collection.
My great Aunt collected woodblocks on trips to Japan during the 1980’s & 90\'s. This was one of her pieces. It has been stored in a folder ever since she started collecting. Never displayed.
It\'s in good condition paper toning as appropriate for it\'s age. Still in original folder from art dealer. It measures approximately16 x 1 in41 x 28 cm.
