About the Artist:
LOUIZOR, ERNST was born October 16, 1938 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is known as the leadingimpressionist artist of Haiti. Louizor is mentioned in many books on Haitianart. He is best known for his renditions of harbors and of people. His workshave been exhibited extensively throughout Europe, the United States and Haiti.Known as the Master of Haitian Impressionism, His influence can be seen in manyof the works of younger Haitian impressionist painters.
