1930s early 1940s Vintage Guardian Service by Century Metalcraft Hammered Aluminum Covered Dutch Oven / CookerBeautiful vintage Guardian Service cookware featuring the classic hammered aluminum finish, wire bail handle, and matching domed aluminum lid with black knob.The bottom retains the original Guardian Service / Century Metalcraft maker’s mark with the distinctive early knight/guardian logo.This is an especially interesting Guardian Service piece because it has the aluminum/metal lid rather than the more commonly encountered glass Guardian Service lid. The early metal-lid Guardian Service cookware is associated with the earlier years of production.Approximate measurements:

• Wire bail carrying handleThe pot is in good vintage condition for its age. It shows normal scratches, discoloration, staining and signs of use consistent with old aluminum cookware.
