These are really cool. So, this pair started life as a pair of the Greasy Leather Gripfast boots. They were matte and and didn’t look great. We gave them a massive glow up. The leather was degreased, smoothed, dyed Red and then conditioned to create more of a normal smooth leather. They were then polished to a great shine. The patina formed from the original black and the red is really great and looks different depending on the light. The footbeds are fine but the gripfast logo is a little worn, so we will be including a pair of Solovair heel pads with your order. The soles are fantastic except for a small ding on the right heel which is has no affect on the sole integrity or comfort. This pair comes with 2 pairs of 550 paracord laces with your choice of colors. I currently have white, black, red, gold, burgundy, yellow and brown . Care instructions: These are dyed and wax sealed. If you deglaze or use acetone on them the finish will strip. As these have been converted to smooth you should use smooth leather conditioner like Bick 4. DO NOT DUBBIN or BALSAM.
