Rare Vintage Gowland & Gowland Highway Pioneers Two-Car Lot
For sale is a great pair of early 1950s plastic model cars by Gowland & Gowland (the predecessors to many Revell models):
1. 1954 1915 Fiat Tourer
• Copyright 1954
• Red body with yellow fenders and wheels
• Approx. 5 inches long when assembled
2. 1953 M.G. Model T.D.
• Copyright 1953
• Red body with black top
• Also approx. 4 inches long
Both models are from the classic Highway Pioneers series in approx. 1:32 scale. They are currently in vintage state and need tlc with a large assortment of original parts included (wheels, interiors, chassis pieces, trim, etc.).
Key Markings (visible in photos):
• “1915 FIAT TOURER Gowland & Gowland Copyright 1954”
• “M.G. Model T.D. Gowland & Gowland Copyright 1953”
Condition:
• Both cars show honest age-related wear: paint chipping, yellowing, and minor scratches consistent with 70+ year old toys/models
• Most major parts appear to be present for both vehicles
• Excellent for restoration, parts, or display as a vintage pair sold as is
