Up for sale is a vintage Fostex Multitracker 160 analog4-track cassette recorder and mixer. This is a classic multitrack recorderthat’s popular with musicians, home recording enthusiasts, and collectors ofvintage analog audio equipment.
Condition:
I purchased this unit myself and used it briefly in the1980’s. It was stored in working condition in the original box, in a heated andair-conditioned home since then.
The unit is like new, in excellent cosmetic conditionwith no signs of use. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of theitem’s description.

VU meter display illuminates and functions
Cassette door opens and closes properly
Cassette deck plays, and Fast Forward and Rewind functionshave been tested
All knobs rotate smoothly
All push button switches work
All faders/slider controls move freely and smoothly
No additional testing has been performed. Recording, audioinputs/outputs, and all other functions have not been tested due to lack ofcompatible equipment.
