Vintage Firestone AM Radio For Tractor Fender w/ Antenna For Sale

Here is a vintage Firestone AM radio designed for use on a tractor. Comes complete with a raised stand as you can see in the pictures. You could put any length pipe in there you would want to adjust the height. The case is designed to be weatherproof. Original paint. Some scratches and paint loss, great patina. The extension antenna raises to about 5 1/2 feet tall. This would be a great addition for your vintage tractor. I did connect power to it, but all I got was a hum through the speakers. It probably is something simple, but I could not get any radio stations to play. The tuning knob works just fine as you can see. I took some pictures of it in various positions. The volume control knob switches on and off just fine. The Bass and treble switch slides freely. The positive side wiring is a little bit crunchy and should be replaced. Even though it is currently not in working condition, the radio itself cosmetically is in very nice condition as is the entire enclosure. Put it on your show tractor anyway. For shipping I will be separating the radio from the pedestal stand. Please see the pictures. Thanks.
