Vintage Fenwick 5’ ultralight spinning rod, made in the USA.
This is an attractive older Fenwick featuring the classic translucent brown fiberglass blank, cork handle, metal reel seat, decorative thread wraps and vintage Fenwick graphics.

The original model and specification markings have worn away with age and are no longer readable. Based on its size and construction, this appears to be an ultralight/light-line spinning rod, but the original line and lure ratings are unknown. Very much resembles a Fenwick FS50 but without the markings on the blank I cannot confirm such.
Rod is in good overall vintage condition. The blank has normal cosmetic marks and finish wear from age and use. Cork shows typical staining, wear and small imperfections. Guides, wraps and tip appear intact and usable. The decorative wraps and unusual hook/lure keeper give this rod a particularly nice period appearance.
As mentioned, exact Fenwick model is unknown. It may be from one of Fenwick’s older ultralight series (I.e. FS50), but no specific model or series is being represented because the original identification markings are no longer legible.
