Vintage Elgin American powder compact featuring a genuine hand-painted cloisonné enamel floral design with a pink rose on a white decorative background.
The original interior label reads “Genuine Hand Painted Cloisonne Enamel by Elgin American.”
Compact includes its original mirror and triangular rouge/cosmetic compartment. Hardened vintage cosmetic residue remains inside the small triangular compartment and has been left untouched. The mirror shows age spotting, while the gold-tone metal has expected scratches, patina, oxidation and plating wear from age and use.
No powder puff is included. Compact is being sold in as-found vintage condition with no polishing or restoration attempted.
