A fun piece of vintage Hawaiiana featuring a colorful hula girl cover with pineapple and hibiscus graphics. Inside are Hawaiian words and expressions with English translations, including greetings, pronunciation, numerals, place names, toasts and phrases. The booklet is cross-indexed Hawaiian-to-English and English-to-Hawaiian.
This appears to be a later printing of a title originally published around 1950. The Honolulu 96802 ZIP code printed inside indicates this particular edition dates from 1963 or later.
Condition: Nice vintage condition with age-related wear and toning. There is some handwritten pencil notation on the back cover, as shown in the photos. Interior pages appear clean and well preserved. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the condition description.
