This substantial tabletop globe features a16-inch illuminated globemounted within a brass-tone graduated meridian on a handsome rectangular wood-finish base. When illuminated, the globe produces a warm glow that beautifully highlights the detailed political cartography, geographic markings and ocean-current arrows.

Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear consistent with its age, use and display.
The globe retains beautiful color and extensive geographic detail. There are areas of normal surface wear, marks, scratches, discoloration and aging visible upon close inspection. The wood-finish base and metal components also show normal vintage wear.
The globe illuminates and the light is working, as photographed.
