Dearborn Michigan U.S.A.Several of the larger gauge blocks are individually marked CEJ Ford or C.E. Johansson Ford Dearborn, including the .300”, .400”, .500”, 1” and 2” blocks. The set also contains numerous smaller precision gauge blocks in graduated sizes.The fitted gauge-block positions are all occupied as shown in the photos. Many of the blocks have additional engraved markings, including “12-25.”The original dark brown fitted case is embossed “Johansson Gages” on the exterior and retains its original metal hinges and latches.This is a wonderful piece of early American precision-machining and Ford Motor Company history. Johansson gauge blocks—also known as Jo Blocks—were precision standards used by machinists, toolmakers, and manufacturers for highly accurate measurements.Condition: Vintage used condition. The case and blocks show scratches, staining, discoloration, surface wear, and other signs of age and use. The blocks have not been recently calibrated or tested for accuracy and are being sold as vintage precision tooling/collectibles.Please review all photos carefully for the exact sizes, markings, contents, and condition.
