Beautiful large vintage Burmese/Myanmar-style lacquerware Hsun-Ok offering vessel, acquired from an estate sale.Measures approximately 19” tall × 13” wide. Features a dramatic black lacquered exterior with raised red and gilt-toned scrollwork, a red lacquered interior, domed removable lid with finial, and an intricate open lattice pedestal base.This piece shows wonderful character and craftsmanship. It has age-related wear throughout, including areas of lacquer loss, surface marks, edge wear, and exposed underlying wood/bamboo construction.
