Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage traditional Burmese marionette puppet (Yoke thé), hand-crafted in Myanmar (Burma) during the mid-to-late 20th century. It makes for a magnificent display piece or a wonderful addition to any theatrical, puppetry, or international art collection.Condition Details (Please Read):
• Completeness: The piece is entirely whole and structurally intact, with all major limbs and components present.• Strings: The original strings are included, but some strings need to be reattached/untangled to make it fully operational again.• Headdress/Crown: The ornate, tiered crown is present but is currently not adhered to the head. It can be easily re-glued or left as-is depending on your display preference.• Overall Wear: Vintage condition with light, expected age-related wear to the fabric backing, minor fraying on some gold threads, and very light cosmetic weathering to the painted face.
