Lot of three vintage Catholic devotional holy cards featuring Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton.
These cards date to the period after Elizabeth Ann Seton’s 1963 beatification and before her 1975 canonization, making them an interesting group of pre-canonization Catholic devotional ephemera.
The larger card features Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton surrounded by angels. The reverse reproduces text from an address by Pope John XXIII dated March 17, 1963, the date of her beatification.
The two smaller matching cards feature Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton on the front. Their reverses contain a “Prayer to obtain the Canonization of Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton” along with ecclesiastical approvals, including Francis Cardinal Spellman, Archbishop of New York. The wording of the prayer places these cards before Seton’s 1975 canonization.

* Two matching smaller cards: approximately 2-1/4” x 4” each
