These vintage Federal style brass andirons with an ombre patina are a unique and breathtaking addition to any fireplace or decorative display. Made of brass with a beautiful ombre patina, these andirons are an antique original set that adds a touch of history and elegance to any space. The. only mark indicated is the large flame on back post of each one. I am unsure of the maker of this stamp.Standing at approximately 22-3/4 inches tall, 8-1/4 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, they really have a grand appearance. They each have a unique patina pattern from years of use in the fireplace. These beautiful unique patterns cannot simply just be created.Both andirons have wear and scratches consistent with regular use throughout the patina. It is my opinion that it is within the character of the pieces and does not take away. Structurally, they are sound.These are heavy pieces, coming in at 7lbs. 3oz. a piece, before any packaging.Sold as-is.
