Vintage ALCO Models E.M.D. SW-1500 brass diesel switcher locomotive, Catalog No. D-151, made in Japan and marked KMT JAPAN on the underside.
A desirable vintage Japanese brass model with excellent detail throughout, including separately applied handrails, steps, grab irons, detailed trucks, cab glazing, exhaust stacks and other fine components.

The locomotive displays the craftsmanship and extensive separately applied detailing associated with vintage Japanese brass model railroad equipment.
Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with considerable age-related patina, oxidation, tarnishing, spotting and finish discoloration throughout.
There is noticeable finish loss/discoloration on the cab roof and other areas.
Because these brass models have extremely delicate applied components, some handrails, grab irons, steps, couplers or other small details may be bent, loose, displaced or missing. Please use the photographs as the definitive guide to condition and completeness.
The original ALCO Models box has heavy storage wear, including staining, tears, crushing, edge wear and deterioration.
The original foam has also deteriorated substantially with age.
