Original vintage French automobile grille or radiator badge bearing the A.C.O. Automobile-Club de l’Ouest name around the gear-shaped outer border.
The central blue-and-yellow triangular emblem reads “A.C. des Côtes du Nord” and features the regional heraldic crest. This was produced for the Côtes-du-Nord regional automobile club affiliated with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.
The badge measures approximately 2.8 inches in diameter and has multiple mounting holes around the openwork metal body. No screws, brackets or other mounting hardware are included.
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest is closely associated with French motorsports and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, although this is a regional membership or club badge rather than a specific race-event badge. The ACO confirms that it created and organizes the 24 Hours of Le Mans and maintains regional delegations, including today’s Côtes-d’Armor delegation.
