The Life Library of Photography was Time-Life’s landmark mail-order photography course, issued by subscription beginning in 1970. Subscribers received a series of 17 richly illustrated hardcover volumes covering photographic technique, history, darkroom work, photojournalism, portraiture, nature photography, and major photographers. After completion of the core library, Time-Life continued the series with annual ‘Photography Year’ volumes documenting notable photographic developments and images of each year. This listing includes the core 17 volumes, the 1973 Photography Year Volume, and a couple smaller catalog size inserts that cane with the core volumes. These are in very nice shape, as seen in the photos. I’m frankly surprised by how good the content and photos are in these. Just a wonderful set. My photos are a bit over exposed, so the staining on the two spines would fully show. It’s not nearly as obvious in reality, but I’d rather these exceed your expectation.
