Here\'s a rare chance to own a superb example of a Talking Barbie released only on the UK market that has been professionally repaired to speak. She was released by the Rosebud Mattel company, formed in 1967 when Mattel took over the British doll manufacturer Rosebud. She speaks with a very posh British accent and says different things to her US counterpart. From what I have observed, the Rosebud Mattel talkers always came with the \'Japan\' style arms with painted fingernails, rather than the typical \'Mexico\' arms.She says her phrases and she speaks loudly and clearly - please see the video. I\'ve not yet heard her say \'How should I wear my hair?\', but that\'s one of the phrases these dolls say.This is not a mint doll, but she\'s in superb condition.Please use the photos to guide you further as to condition, as they are the most important part of the description and should tell you all you need to know. Her legs have some faded spots and some stains, and there\'s a stain to the back of her right arm. I have not attempted to remove amy stains and they may well come out with some benzyoyl peroxidetreatment.I see no fade spots to her head vinyl. No paint rubs. No missing plugs. Lashes are all original. Two ribbons in her hair have been retied, all ribbons are original. Original rubber bands in her hair.
Her legs click 3 times each and hold the positions. Her hip joints have been repaired, so her legs are now securely attached. Please do exercise care when dressing/undressing or making her talk, though, as the design of these joints means they\'re not as secure as the TnT and Standard dolls.Feel free to ask any questions.
