Vintage 1950s Junior Deluxe Editions Club Doubleday Mailer Complete Uncut Stamps For Sale

A complete, unused 1950s direct-mail promotional kit from the Junior Deluxe Editions Club, Doubleday's mail-order children's book program. This is the full set as it would have arrived in a parent's mailbox:

• Large color die-cut circular: "Give your child any THREE of these beautiful books for only $1.49"
• Two-page cover letter on Junior Deluxe Editions Club letterhead, signed by Charles L. Sherman
• Postage-paid Business Reply Card (unused)
• Uncut sheet of 10 illustrated "Children's Book Stamps"featuring Black Beauty, Little Women, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Swiss Family Robinson, Hans Brinker, Kidnapped, Heidi, Treasure Island, Alice in Wonderland, and Robin Hood
• Enrollment card

These promotional mailers were meant to be cut apart and used, so a complete, uncut set surviving together is genuinely scarce — most examples that turn up are missing pieces or the stamps have been separated and pasted onto the reply card. Wonderful piece of mid-century advertising and book-club history, and a nice display item for collectors of vintage ephemera, children's book history, or advertising premiums.
