Vintage 1944 Woman\'s Home Companion Cook Book WWII Wartime Edition Collier
This book has been well used and well loved which actually lends to its appeal. It will give you a special feeling to hold and flip through this cookbook that fed a family through good times and bad. It was printed during the war and there is a wartime postscript included. This particular copy has had tape applied to the spine, the first title page is starting to come loose, the last page of index is loose and tucked in back, there is the occasional tear or spill inside and I saw at least 1 note about a recipe. There are also a couple clippings tucked inside either to use as bookmarks or for a recipe. This book is 951 pages. Please see all photos for true condition, sold AS IS but entirely still usable.
