The rich patina on this 1930’s BBB Own Make - VIRGIN is exceptional. Stamps London England 607 on the shank are clean and crisp. The tamp/marring around the rim is less than exceptional, however for a pipe of this age, I’ve chosen to appreciate it. The original stem with intact metal diamond rondel does hold some tooth impressions near the button. Ive reamed the chamber, and cleaned the airways in the shank and stem with 99% alcohol - ready to smoke or continue cleaning to your satisfaction upon receipt.
