Up for sale is a classic vintage Sharp WQ-T282(BK) boombox featuring Sharp's famous Twin Mechanism double cassette deck. Made in Japan, this iconic portable stereo system is highly clean and in good functional condition.
Key Details & Functionality:
Power: Tested and works fully on both AC power (original style cord included) and DC battery power (requires 10 "C" batteries; batteries not included). Battery compartment and cover are clean.
Antenna: Telescopic antenna is intact, completely straight, and extends/functions perfectly.
Playback & Audio: The unit plays cassette tapes and radio clearly and can get very loud.
Speaker Condition Note: The original speaker rubber/foam surrounds have deteriorated over time due to age (visible through the grilles). While the speakers still play and function, re-foaming/refurbishing the surrounds or swapping the speaker drivers will restore peak audio performance.
Cosmetic Condition: Exceptionally clean exterior condition for its age with light standard vintage wear.
