Amazing hard to find Ansley cobalt and gold cottage rose teacup and saucer. Amazing hand painted scalloped edge teacup and saucer with an intricate fish scale hand painted design by J A Bailey. Made in England and signed by Bailey.
No chips or cracks. Great condition for its age with a few manufacturing defects and a few spots from its life. Gold paint has a few small areas of discoloration and age. Some black specs in the glaze and one black mark on the side of the cup as shown in photos.
Saucer is 6” in diameter and cup is 2 1/4”H and 5”W including handle. Rim of cup is 4” in diameter.
