Excellent vintage collectible/display condition with a vibrant original gloss red finish. Exterior shows fine surface swirl marks from handling and storage along with a couple small paint chip exposing the white fiberglass beneath. Original matching red 5-snap sun peak is securely attached with clean hardware, and the Shoei decal remains crisp and intact. Black rubber base molding remains securely attached with age-related surface oxidation/chalkiness. Interior cloth crown and cheek padding are exceptionally clean, and the impact foam appears structurally intact without visible crumbling. Double D-rings and retaining snap are clean and corrosion-free. The synthetic faux-leather coating on the chinstrap comfort pads is heavily cracked and flaking from age, while the underlying nylon webbing remains intact. Factory labels and size markings remain legible. Due to its age, this helmet is being sold strictly as a collectible/display piece and is not represented as safe or suitable for modern riding.
