VINTAGE HANDCRAFTED GEOMETRIC POTTERY VESSEL – SOUTHWESTERN / PUEBLO-INSPIRED – 2 3/4" x 2"Offered for sale is an attractive small vintage handcrafted pottery vessel featuring a rounded, somewhat flattened body with a short raised cylindrical neck and open mouth. The vessel is decorated in a warm cream-to-tan ground with dark brown-to-black geometric decoration. Bold designs encircle the body, including angular zigzag and stepped forms, elongated sweeping elements, curved bands, and small linear accents. The hand-applied decoration varies naturally in line weight and finish, contributing to the individual character of the piece. The combination of earthy coloration, geometric decoration, rounded form, and visible hand-working gives the vessel a distinctive Southwestern/Pueblo-inspired appearance. The short neck is primarily cream-to-tan and largely undecorated. The interior appears dark and undecorated. The underside is plain tan and does not carry the geometric decoration found around the body. The pottery displays natural surface and construction variations, including visible forming, finishing, glazing, and firing irregularities consistent with a handcrafted piece. No artist name, signature, or identifiable maker's mark was observed or is included in this listing.
