These are actual US Military Issue, lensatic compasses made in the U.S.A by Stocker & YaleCases will show a significant amount of pitting or paint flaking.Dates of manufacture are anywhere from late 1970's to early 2000's.
These are all Stocker & Yale Sandy 183 compasses with the Tritium microlights.PLEASE NOTE: Because of the various manufacture dates, we cannot guarantee that the Tritium microlights will "glow" all the time. Typically, they stop after 10 years. PLEASE ASSUME THE DIALS WILL NOT GLOW.All compasses function properly and point North.Dials may, or may not, lock in place when the compass is closed. This will not affect the compass being able to point North or function properly, it just means it may not stay on the same degree it was on prior to closing the case.
