This is a beautiful rendering on a wooden mask of the mythological, Hindu Bali goddess of water DEWI – DANU. I have seen several of these rather abstract masks, but this one is the best one that is incredibly rendered and beautiful. This is a wooden mask wall hanging. it is in very good condition with a very minor repair on the upper left. See photo which has been artistically and expertly restored. This is a unique art piece – – one of a kind. it measures 9 inches high by 7 1/2 inches wide. it depicts the goddess mermaid like swimming with 14 fish. and underwater vegetation.
