This device uses Spectrum Phased Array Sensor (SPA) technology to provide precise vehicle detection with the most reliable results.
This sensor can be used for a variety of different drive-thru applications including fast food (QSR restaurants), car wash, banking, automatic gates, toll booths, loading dock monitoring and other parking or access control applications.
Unlike a vehicle loop detector configuration that requires the installation of a loop in the pavement (you won\'t have to worry about cutting concrete), the UVD-2X may be simply mounted on a post or order box, 2 to 3 feet off the ground and aimed at the location of the vehicle when in position to perform a transaction or place an order.
The UVD-2X does not require any set up or functional adjustments, no additional loop detector, no need for special programmers or the need to stop traffic through the driveway during installation.
The UVD-2X greatly reduces the cost associated with installation of vehicle detection capabilities, compared to loop detectors for these types of applications.
