Up for sale is a lot of USA airmail covers: first flights, airport dedications and National Air Mail Week covers, mostly from the late 1920s through the 1950s, with some more modern aviation covers as well. Some better and unusual covers are mixed in -- see the highlights below. There are also a few first day covers that are not airmail-related, and a few covers from or to other countries. Sold as one lot, exactly as shown.

• A January 1929 F.A.M. 6 first flight cover from Miami to the Caribbean, via Santo Domingo, with Santo Domingo and Miami backstamps (photos 59 and 60)
• Pacific first flights, including San Pedro to Fiji with a Suva backstamp (photos 29 and 30), Los Angeles to Canton Island with a Canton Island backstamp (photos 31 and 32), a Wake Island first air mail service cover (photo 95), San Francisco to Auckland (photo 109) and San Francisco to Honolulu, Guam and Calcutta (photo 101)
• A 1947 New York to Tokyo first flight air letter (photo 122) and a round-the-world inaugural air letter (photo 123)

Condition: Condition is mixed. Most covers are in good used condition, with some better and nicer pieces mixed in. As is usual for older postal history, some covers show toning, foxing, stains or tape marks (mostly on the backs), and some carry old pencil notes or dealer prices. There are some duplicates. Most covers are shown front and back, so please judge each one from the photos.
