I have personally used it with great success to do all of the following:-Sprout alocasia corms - works better than every other media I’ve tried. Faster, more reliable and less susceptible to rot (in my experience)
-Top dress carnivorous plants
-Mount orchids
-Propagate cuttings - use a cup with a lid and I swear you’ll see roots faster than any other method. Better than rooting hormone
-Add to terrariums or vivariums
-Build bog gardens I even ship my Alocasia corms in this moss because it is less susceptible to mold or rot! The amount shown in the tinfoil tray is what you will receive, but packed into a ziplock bag for ease of shipping. I don’t think “*X*-size bag” is very descriptive, as the amount that can be packed into a bag varies wildly. *For ease of shipping, I fold up the sides and the tray and compress the moss a bit. It will begin to spring right up once you unfold the tray and give it some breathing room
