An attractive antique hardback copy of *Trials From The Newgate Calendar*, published by Sisley\'s Ltd as part of The Panel Books series. Featuring classic accounts from the infamous Newgate Calendar, this decorative edition includes illustrations and period typography, making it an excellent addition to any antiquarian book collection.
Condition:Fair antique condition. The book shows significant wear to the spine with losses to the leather covering at both the top and bottom, exposing the binding in places. Covers have marks, scuffs and edge wear consistent with age they are also separating from the book but still attached. Pages are complete and remain attached with light age toning, foxing and occasional marks throughout. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown and a handwritten number to the front endpaper.
