Up for sale is a classic vintage Tomy AFX Thunderloop Thriller HO scale electric slot car racing set. Unlike many sets found online, this item has been thoroughly tested, is fully operational, and includes all necessary components to set up and race right out of the box!
What’s Included:
- Original Slot Cars (2): Blue Nissan 300ZX Turbo (#33) and Yellow Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Both car bodies are in excellent aesthetic shape with crisp decals and clean, intact clips.
- Track & Loops: Complete 27½ ft track layout including the signature vertical loops and support stands.
- Power & Controls: Original wall power pack adapter and 2 hand speed controllers (all tested and working).
Condition Notes:
- Cars & Track: Fully functional. Motor brushes and pickup shoes have been inspected. The cars run smoothly and fast around the track.
- Original Box: The outer cardboard packaging shows significant vintage shelf wear, including surface tearing, edge peeling, and tape reinforcement (please see photos for detailed box condition). The inner styrofoam tray is intact and safely holds all components.
