Acceptable vintage condition.
The book is complete and remains readable, but the binding has significant separation at the rear hinge/spine area, as clearly shown in the photos. The text block remains together, but the case and inner binding have pulled apart in this section.
Orange cloth covers show age-related wear, rubbing, staining, fading, bumped and worn corners, and fraying along the edges and spine ends. The binding has separated at the inside hinge, as shown in the photos, although the text block remains present.
Pages show substantial age toning consistent with a book of this age. Some pages have staining or discoloration from papers that were previously left inside the book. There is also a handwritten former-owner inscription on the “This Book” page.
Please review all photos carefully, especially the binding separation, as they are an important part of the condition
