This is from my personal collection. It was used sparingly as it was in a second system. My main system was a Technics SL-M3 turntable. Works perfectly and all functions operate as they should. Visually I would rate it as an 8.5 out of 10 ( I am picky), minor scrapes on the case and on the plexiglass cover. Operationally fantastic. I tried to picture any flaws, remember this is a 40 plus year old item and is not new. I purchased a few years ago on Audiogon from an engineer in Canada who had it serviced completely a few years before. When i received it the unit came with a nice Audio Technica cartridge. Originally these tables came with the renowned Technics EPC-310MC, which is a moving coil cartridge. I was lucky enough to have purchased 2 NOS 310MC\'s for my SL-M3, so I absolutely installed one of those and the sound was amazing. This player has a built in phono preamp that allows you to use Moving Coil Cartridges or Moving Magnet Cartridges. Just by using a switch on the rear of the turntable. Changing cartridges is a breeze! The sound is outstanding! It also includes the original Manual, rare to find the original RCA plugs with built in ground wire, aftermarket stands to be optionally used on a tabletop with a 45 a degree angle. Also, if you are an audiophile and want to use higher end cables, like i did, I have included a custom made independent ground wire pictured in photo 19 &20! Also pictured in photo 21 & 22 are the way the tonearm and cartridge are secured and must be carefully removed. This is the same way it was packed when shipped to me and it traveled perfectly. The cartridge has a cover protecting the needle. There is also a small factory lock switch that is on the arm to stabilize for shipping andis engaged, simply slide it to the left and you are ready to play!
The reason I am selling is due to we are downsizing, I have and am selling other P Mount cartridges and vintage receivers and tape decks.
I previously had a VPI and Technics SL-1200 turntables and got tired of pain staking alignment of changing cartridges or worries of something moving after hours of play. The P Mount system is really a plug and play system and everything is perfectly aligned. I can honestly say that I compared the VPI and Technics P Mounts with similar quality cartridges and the difference were only very slight.
I sold the other 2 tables and went to the P Mount system and never looked back!

This is a full auto player that was developed by putting Technics player technology into a record jacket size of 31.5 cm width and depth.
The tone arm uses a linear tracking tone arm.
In the linear tracking arm, a DC motor with high rotational accuracy is used for arm travel, which is controlled by a microcomputer.
