This is a receiver with integrated power amplification. A separate power amplifier is not required for normal listening through compatible passive speakers. Speakers, connecting cables, and a compatible AC power cord are required and are not included.
For surround sound, use compatible speakers and a powered subwoofer as appropriate for your setup. Follow the speaker impedance markings on the rear panel and the manufacturer's operating instructions.
This model provides analog, optical, and coaxial audio connections along with composite video. It does not have HDMI connections. Please confirm compatibility with your equipment before purchasing.
